Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative from Lena Tours will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. Depending on arrival time, optional activities such as visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or strolling along the shores of Lake Victoria can be arranged.

Day 2: Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (via Ziwa Rhinos)

After breakfast, begin your journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Stop en route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot—an excellent opportunity to observe southern white rhinos in their natural habitat. Proceed to the park and arrive at your lodge in time for dinner.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Cruise

Start your day with an early morning game drive across the Buligi plains where lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and Jackson’s hartebeests roam. Later in the afternoon, embark on a spectacular boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls—home to hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species. Enjoy breathtaking views of the waterfall as the river explodes through a narrow gorge.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Top of the Falls & Transfer to Hoima

After breakfast, visit the Top of the Falls where the Nile squeezes through a seven-meter gap creating a roaring cascade. Enjoy photography and exploration before continuing to Hoima for a relaxed overnight stay, breaking the long transfer southwards.

Day 5: Hoima – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Experience

Today you trek into Kibale Forest, home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and black-and-white colobus. After the trekking experience, return for lunch before heading to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community-guided walk known for birds, primates, and cultural interactions.

Day 7: Kibale – Transfer to Semuliki National Park (Hot Springs Visit)

After breakfast, drive to Semuliki National Park, famous for its geothermal hot springs and unique Central African wildlife influence. Visit the Sempaya Hot Springs, learn their cultural significance, and enjoy a guided nature walk. Relax at the lodge overlooking the Rift Valley escarpment.
