Day 1: pickup and Kampala city tour.
On this day you will be welcomed by our company representative meet greet and begin your day off at the king’s palace, the drive to Mengo is an interesting one as you keep passing past busy people doing their day-to-day errands in the city, the motorcycled the city are not surprising as they are the fastest means of transportation one can use, upon arrival at the palace, the culture is evident right from the gates of the palace, they are sidelined with monuments representing totems for every clan, while at the palace we will have the chance to visit the parliament of Buganda. Proceeding to the Kasubi royal tombs experience where all kings of Buganda were buried for centuries, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant to taste the pureness of the typical African taste.
In the afternoon our guide will drive downhill from Makerere Hill road to the Uganda Museum, this is a historical point of the country where most of the artifacts are got, the tale of Uganda’s history for many years has been gathered here if time allows we will visit the Gadafi mosque and a few local market areas after return to accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight.
