Day 1: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
Your adventure starts at 7:00 AM! Our Lena Tours guide picks you up from your hotel in Kampala / Entebbe. Drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here you will track endangered white rhinos on foot for 1-2 hours with a ranger – get as close as 6 meters for amazing photos!
Enjoy a delicious lunch in Masindi
Continue to Murchison Falls NP and enter through Kichumbanyobo gate. First highlight: Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls. Feel the earth shake as the Nile forces itself through the narrow gorge. This viewpoint is unforgettable.
Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight with sounds of the bush.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive & Boat Cruise to Bottom of Falls
Wake up early! 6:00 AM game drive on the northern bank – Buligi, Albert and Queen’s tracks. This is prime time for lions, leopards, hyenas hunting. See huge herds of elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes (found only here in Uganda), Jackson’s hartebeest, and waterbucks.
Return to lodge at 11:00 AM for breakfast/brunch and relax.
At 2:00 PM, enjoy the famous 3-hour boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Cruise on the Victoria Nile where you will see pods of hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes along the banks, and many birds like African fish eagle, goliath heron and kingfishers. Get close to the falls for powerful photos.
Optional: If you didn’t hike yesterday, you can hike to the top from the boat landing point.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Sunrise Game Drive – Return to Kampala
Early morning 6:30 AM short sunrise game drive as you exit the park. Best chance to see lions on the road and early risers.
Exit the park and drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masindi town. Stop at Ziwa for souvenir shopping if you missed.
Arrival in Kampala by 5:00-6:00 PM. Drop-off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport. End of safari with great memories!
